**** pretty cool, smooth and downtempo. blend reggae, acid jazz, bossa nova into slicky groove, recommend. AMG picks, 4 stars.

**** 史詩般的作品，聲音一層層堆疊，部落的節拍推動著樂曲前進，人聲的吟唱開啟想像空間。第三首頗神，一開始是trance，後來搖身一變成為drum n' bass, 卻一點也不突兀，高桿。一樣是AMG picks, 4 and 1/2 stars.

2. Kelly Blue, by Wynton Kelly
*** 多首標準曲，多是三重奏，有兩首加入笛子、小喇叭和薩克斯風。

3. Adam's Apple, by Wayne Shorter
***** very swing, pretty good album, with herbie hancock on piano, joe chamers on drum, and reginald workman on bass. yes, it is a quartet. recommend.

4. A night at birdland, volume 1, by Art Blakey
***** 布雷基的jazz messengers樂團是有名的爵士樂手培訓學校，這期的學生有clifford brown, ah, he is one of my favorite, speedy, luxirous, melodic, quite a pity that he died young. 還有loud donaldson on saxohpone, horace silver on piano, 我有這位鋼琴手的其他專輯。算一算，這裡的人後來真的都獨當一面哩。這張專輯則是標準的bebop album, hot!!
